Sand Tray Therapy
Sand tray therapy offers a distinctive and engaging approach to emotional and psychological well-being. Through the use of a sand tray and figurines, this therapeutic method allows you to express your inner world in a non-verbal, creative way.
Fee Schedule
Most insurance providers offer reimbursement for counselling sessions provided by RCCs and CCCs. Please consult with your extended health care plan to confirm coverage.
Extended Health Plans & Funding Sources
Extended Health Care Plans
Clients who have access to extended health/medical care coverage benefits (from providers such as Sun Life, Manulife, Pacific Blue Cross, etc.) may be able to get reimbursement for the services of RCCs (Registered Clinical Counsellors) and CCCs (Canadian Clinical Counsellors), such as myself. You may wish to check with your provider if your particular policy will reimburse you for RCC or CCC counselling services.
Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP)
I am qualified and registered to provide counselling to clients who have been victims of a crime and who are eligible through the BC Crime Victim Assistance Program. Please note that eligibility may be granted to the victim of a crime, a family member of the victim, or a witness. To register, you may call or text a CVAP client coordinator at 1-800-563-0808 (24/7 toll-free, confidential), or email 211-VictimLinkBC@uwbc.ca.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment is requested at the time of each session and is non-refundable. If applicable, you will need to submit receipts to your insurance provider for reimbursement following each session as there is no direct billing option available. Please note that as of December 20, 2024, counselling services from RCC’s are tax-exempt and GST will no longer be charged.
Please remember, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy in place. Any cancellations within this window will incur a 50% charge of the session amount. Missed appointments, whether intentional or unintentional, will be charged at 100% of the session amount.
If you foresee any scheduling conflicts, please reach out to Julie as soon as possible to reschedule. This helps us avoid no-show fees and ensures we can accommodate everyone's needs effectively. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
